To celebrate The Longest Flight, a prestigious campaign marking the launch of IWC Schaffhausen's latest collection of Pilot watches, we designed and executed an exclusive VIP event that tied into IWC's long-standing partnership with Goodwood. The campaign itself revolved around a spectacular round-the-world flight featuring the iconic Silver Spitfire, an aircraft meticulously restored for this once-in-a-lifetime journey.
We designed an event space that reflected the elegance and adventure of the campaign, including a dedicated press and watch showcase area, where the latest IWC Pilot watches were on full display. By doing so, we allowed guests to experience the craftsmanship up close.
The centrepiece of the event was the main stage, where speeches by VIPs, celebrities, and brand representatives captivated the audience, building anticipation for the climactic countdown to the Silver Spitfire's grand takeoff. Strategically positioned viewing platforms ensured every guest had the perfect vantage point to witness the breathtaking moment when the Spitfire soared into the skies.
Vintage food trucks were scattered throughout the venue, adding a nostalgic atmosphere by offering a selection of gourmet dishes inspired by classic aviation fare. While roaming, guests were served champagne, creating a sense of luxury and celebration.
As a final touch, each guest departed with a beautifully designed, branded route map, detailing the Silver Spitfire's ambitious flight path around the globe—a memorable keepsake from an unforgettable experience.
