Generating pipeline and demand generation to help grow Google Cloud’s UK business…

Google Cloud wanted to host a number of live events for its customers in its London offices. These events, coined ‘Cloud Days,’ aimed to position Google Cloud as thought leaders, drive consideration, and provide the latest insights and updates on its range of products.

To drive efficiencies and sustainability, these events were considered and planned as a series, rather than stand-alone events. This enabled us to minimise materials and create multi-use, long-standing assets which we could use again and again. We then offered tailored assets for each event, based on the individual event requirements, but kept these to a minimum where possible.

We helped with the event identities from key Google assets, while also providing management of registration, event flow, production, F&B, and technical support throughout the events…

Gen AI Live & Labs

The events kick-started with Gen AI Live and Labs, with sessions focusing on the benefits of generative AI on customer service, marketing, retail and financial services. Audience helped to deliver the sessions, with labs and breakouts, that showcased Google’s latest AI product range. We assisted with all digital assets, speaker presentations and the flow of the show.

Our AI Playground on-the-road kit accompanied the sessions, consisting of an AI-generated penalty shootout and drone derby race course, which gave delegates a hands-on learning experience of the capabilities of AI. We also helped to create interactive demo pods that showcased how Google Cloud AI products could transform markets and deliver outstanding customer service.

To show AI capabilities in real-time, we organised an art selfie stand where guests took selfies on tablets against a variety of AI backgrounds, as well as a brownie bakeoff where Google’s catering team went head-to-head with an AI-generated brownie recipe. Each delegate blind-tasted the catering team and AI brownie recipes, voting for their favourites and learning the winners at the end of the day.

Data Cloud Live, Cloud Security and Modern Infrastructure & Apps UKI Forum

Data Cloud Live followed, with a day of data trend sessions. The series of lightning talks focused around Google Cloud’s data and AI platforms, looking at how they accelerate business outcomes, data management and application modernisation.

Cloud Security sessions focused on their security strategy, with client studies, securing the UK by understanding security threats and introducing their new cloud security features. Modern Infrastructure & Apps UKI Forum focused on how Google Cloud could transform infrastructure, workloads, software, and developer productivity. All of this was again intertwined with Gen AI, looking at how it could maximise application reliability and performance, and improve overall operations.

Once again, we provided management of event flow, physical and digital assets, as well as registration and F&B coordination. We provided brand identities for the panel discussions and managed the Q&A sessions. All of the sessions concluded with a networking happy hour, where delegates could help themselves to food and beverages while meeting specialists within the industry.
