The Greater London Authority (GLA) appointed us as the lead production partner for London’s Diwali Festival of Lights, a vibrant celebration honouring the Hindu, Jain, and Sikh communities. They tasked us with crafting an unforgettable experience that was both enchanting and inclusive, drawing people from all walks of life to partake in the festivities.
Our approach centred around creating a family-friendly festival prioritising safety and seamless crowd management, ensuring all guests could enjoy the celebration comfortably and securely. With a commitment to high production values, we delivered an immersive program showcasing Diwali's traditional and contemporary arts and culture. The festival featured a dynamic stage program, with mesmerising performances and cultural presentations captivating audiences of all ages.
In addition to the stage events, we enhanced the festival experience with a bustling street food market located on the lower terrace of the square. This space offered an array of global cuisines, inviting attendees to savour flavours from around the world. The food market was a huge hit, adding a sensory experience to the festival.
Several sponsor marquees and stalls were strategically placed on the north and lower terraces. These spaces provided a platform for business community organisations to engage the public, offering their products and services. Managing these elements was a crucial aspect of our responsibilities, ensuring that every detail was executed flawlessly.
We developed a cohesive and memorable celebration, blending high production quality with community engagement to create a Diwali Festival of Lights that truly shone.
