Over the last 5 years, we've worked with Deloitte to deliver the Shared Services Conference with the same three goals in mind: to increase networking opportunities, grow sponsor engagement, and create an immersive conference with a personalised touch.
In 2023, we wanted to push the conference even further, by integrating the theme of “Imagine. Innovate. Impact.” throughout the creative, content technology, show design, and sponsorship...
Imagine.
We revealed the concealed plenary to attendees through moving screens and lighting, enhanced by an immersive AI spoken-word soundscape sequence, bringing to life the journey of SSC through the years. We created an interactive environment for shared learning content, including talks from expert speakers, like astronaut Tim Peake.
Innovate.
We created the Innovation Hub, including a lounge for informal networking, an impulse area with interactive experiences to explore, an incubator which involved exhibits with “show & tell” opportunities, and the interactive discussion forum where sponsors lead the debate on pressing issues surrounding innovation and growth.
Impact.
We curated the Sponsor Impact Zone, a connected experience that allowed all of our 21 sponsors to be as sustainable and engaging as possible, leaving attendees inspired.
For another year running, we elevated the delegate experience for our 920 attendees, with immersive visual branding across the venue and filtered it through all digital communications. Live attendees got the “wow” factor, experiencing engaging plenary and sponsorship areas.
In 2022 in Lisbon, our carbon emission rating was an estimate of around 285 Metric Tonnes of C02. In 2023 in Copenhagen, we were calculated at 177 metric tonnes. Our efforts in the recent years of SSC have substantially reduced the event’s footprint on the planet, and we are committed to lowering it even further.
