Eric
(Pete)
Eric started sailing in school dinghys around Portsmouth Harbour when he was aged 10. He was immediately obsessed with boats and planned his first circumnavigation at the age of 11yrs (He still has the provisions list). Eric's first career was as a seafarer and is qualified as a Commercial Yachtmaster. He is available for accompanied trips and deliveries of boats up to 20m l.o.a. "We were anchored in Bonifacio on our 5 month trip when the idea of a two year trip first emerged. It got trimmed back to one year when we found that Sue could apply for 12 months extended leave and keep her design job. |

Susie
Sue is a life-long fan of Swallows and Amazons (she was Peggy) and enjoys sailing in the sunshine on flat warm water. She holds an RYA Competent Crew Certificate and has completed RYA Day Skipper, Survival at Sea and Short Range Radio courses "We have planned this trip to give me plenty of opportunities to paint. Something I can rarely find the time for when we are at home." |

Elspeth
Elspeth is 10 years old and goes to St Mary's Primary School in Woodbridge. She has been sailing since she was 2 years old. I like sitting on the boom and swimming from the boat. I help with steering and anchoring. I am not looking forward to missing my friends. |

Peta
Peta is 7 years old. She is good at tidying and cleaning below. Although tall for her age she can't really see where she's going when she steers. I am looking forward to going to the beaches and doing school work on the boat with Mummy as the teacher. I will miss our cat. Puss Puss! |
